Please refer to the letter of Abdul Mateen published in your newspaper on 20th May 2008 regarding misuse of residential plots. This is despite the warning to all co-operative housing societies in Karachi not to use residential plots for other purposes without the permission of the department concerned.
But in Faran Society, Main Haider Ali Road, they are using plots as marriage halls, which creates lot of problems to area residents. I also request the City Nazim to kindly look into this matter and take immediate action and issue instructions no to use residential plots illegally for holding marriages and other functions.
