The Karachi Port handled 129,724 tonnes cargo including 92,680 tonnes import, 37,044 tonnes export cargo and 3,357 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The cargoes comprised of 98,234 tonnes dry cargo including 61,344 tonnes general cargo; 36,890 tonnes Bulk Cargo and 31,490 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Nine ships namely Cape Negro, Loa, As Mars, Creek, Sea Princess, Lalazar, Bao Fu Man, Ken Blossom and A Dragon sailed out to sea during the reported period. Ten vessels viz Hoegh Pusan, Hyun Jin Ks-3, Team Al Emirates, Apl Jeddah, City of Xiamen, Ninth Ocean, Sinar Bintan, Global Prosperity, Hadrian and M.T. Johar containing Cars, Cement, Containers, General Cargo and Oil occupied the berths during the reported period.
Eight vessels namely Apl Jeddah, Mariana III, Ninth Ocean, Khairpur, City of Xiamen, Ocean Friend, Nipayia and Yasa Ilhan are expected to sail on Wednesday while three ships Rm Power, Langford and M.T Johar are expected to sail on Thursday.
Seven vessels viz Chemstar Princess, Ital Glamour, Hyundai Duke, Kota Permata, Apl Cairo, Atlantic Dream and Magway due to arrive on Wednesday while seven ships namely Moyra, Blue Diamond, Sun Rose, Harmony, Jakarta Express, Lte Calvin P. Titus and Blida are due to arrive on Thursday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 52,204 tonnes including 32,655 tonnes import, 19,549 tonnes export cargo and 1,834 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours till 0700 hours Wednesday. The cargo comprised of 7,590 tonnes Coal; 3,984 tonnes Iron Ore; 6,637 tonnes Cement; 4,899 tonnes Palm Oil; 4,812 tonnes Crude Oil and 24,282 tonnes Containerised Cargo. Two bulk cargo carrier MV Nord Vision and MV Jorita sailed out to sea on Wednesday morning.
A total of six ships namely ACX Tsubaki, Sky Chemi, United Star, S.D. Nova, Qem Star and Venus carrying Containers, Palm Oil, Coal, Chemicals and Iron Ore respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Maersk Damietta, MV Shad Wan Island, MV Wales-II, MV Jorita, MT Earth Song, MT Navajo Spirit and MV Nord Vision are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Coal, Palm Oil, Crude Oil and Iron Ore respectively during the report period.
Four ships namely CV ACX Tsubaki, CV CMA CGM Turkey, MT Qem Star and MV Venus carrying Containers, Chemicals and Iron Ore are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Engro Terminal and IOC Berth respectively on Wednesday, while four more ships CV Al-Mirqab, CV CMA CGM Puget, MV Jin Yuan and MV Alex-III are due to arrive on Thursday.
