The Punjab Police and Dera Ismail Khan forced their way into quarter-finals of All Pakistan Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Flood-lit Football Tournament. The absorbing pre quarterfinal matches were watched by a big audience at Okara's Municipal stadium as DFA Quetta and Toba Tek Singh made exit from the 10-day show, says a message received here on Thursday.
Police kicked-out DFA Quetta 3-0 on tiebreaker after the score line was 1-1 at full time. Dera Ismail Khan proved too good for Toba Tek Singh snatching impressive 3-1 win. The final of the event is scheduled on 1 June, after quarterfinals on 30 May and two semi-finals on 31. The matches were supervised by Shams Pervez, Mehr Mukhtar, Shahid Hussain, Abdul Sattar, Khalid Khan and Muhammad Mudassar.
