A graduate of Karachi University (KU), working as teacher at the University of Winnipeg, Canada, has been honoured with Clifford J. Robson Memorial Award. A statement here on Tuesday said the award was for excellence in teaching by the University of Winnipeg.
It said Athar Ata has done his Ph.D. from the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), KU, under ICCBS Acting Director Professor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry. Athar Ata is an associate professor of chemistry at the University of Winnipeg. The colleagues describe him as "the anchor of the chemistry programme" at the University of Winnipeg.
