The Karachi Port handled 123,011 tonnes of cargo including 95,517 tonnes of import, 27,494 tonnes of export cargo and 4,228 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargoes comprised of 57,611 tonnes of dry cargo including 49,716 tonnes of general cargo; 7,895 tonnes of cement and 65,400 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Six ships namely APL Dalian, Kota Puri, MOL Affinity, Global Progress, Lalazar and Pacific Arrow sailed out to sea during the reported period. Eight vessels viz Mediterranean Carrier, Superior Peseadores, Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, Hanjin Chittagong, King Brian, Bavaria Express, Merbabu and Keoyoung Prince are currently at the berths.
Six vessels viz MT Johar, Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, Creek, Bavaria Express, Hanjin Chittagong and Keoyoung Prince are expected to sail on Saturday while three ships namely Merbabu, Chitral and King Brian are expected to sail on Sunday.
Four vessels viz Sinar Agra, High Trader, OEL Victory and Hyun Jin Ks-3 due to arrive on Saturday while nine ships namely St. Irene, Lucky Man, Mitra Bhum, Global Prosperity, APL Tulip, Ataqa, Sea Princes, Banglar Mamata and Bravo P are due to arrive on Sunday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 80,468 tonnes including 59,833 tonnes of import, 20,635 tonnes of export cargo and 2,662 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 26,024 tonnes of furnace oil; 1,500 tonnes of diesel oil; 11,468 tonnes of coal; 5,119 tonnes of cement and 36,051 tonnes of containerised cargo. Three vessels viz CV CMA CGM Nilgai, CV Lucien GA and MT Al-Soor-II sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while two more ships namely CV Maersk Novazzano and MV Wales-II are expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of nine ships namely Al-Manakh, MSC Eagle, Qem Star, Southern Bull, Yasa Ilhan, Mustafa Bey, Jin Yuan and Kaghan carrying containers, furnace oil, Chemicals, cement and Iron Ore respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Maersk Novazzano, CV Lucien GA, MV Wales-II, MV Atlantic Dream, MT Al-Soor-II, MT Sea Lion and MV SD Nova are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, diesel oil, furnace oil and coal respectively during last 24 hours.
Three ships namely CV Al-Manakh, CV MSC Eagle and MT Easter Tera carrying containers and chemicals are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Saturday.
Three vessels viz MV Chitral, MT Atlantia and MT DL Clover to load/offload rice and palm oil due to arrive on Saturday while three more ships namely MT Sinar Agra, MT Harsanadi and MT Ginga Tiger with paraxyline, CAN and phosphoric acid are due to arrive on Sunday. Four more ships namely Mearsk Virginia, Sakura Princess, Easter Tera and Cultivation carrying containers, crude oil, chemicals and coal are also due to arrive.
