Wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade, the Kansas City Board of Trade and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange rallied early on Monday on excessive weekend rains that soaked wheat from the US Midwest to the southern and northern Plains, traders said. Corn and soybeans led the way up, also on weather jitters.
As of 9:36 am CDT (1436 GMT), CBOT July wheat was up 17 cents at $8.28 per bushel. KCBT July was up 18-3/4 cents at $8.65-1/2 and MGE July was up 17 cents at $10.44-1/4.
