Arabica coffee on ICE Futures US jumps 3 percent in volatile trade on short-term buying Tuesday, while cocoa gained as investors bought day-earlier dips amid rollover activity, traders said.
July arabica contract was up 4.10 cents or 3.1 percent at $1.3515 per lb at 9:44 am EDT (1344 GMT), trading $1.3085 to $1.3585. The rest rose 4.00 to 4.10 cents. July cocoa contracts advanced $18 to $2,888 a tonne by 9:19 am July's trading band ran from $2,846 to $2,902.
