Unknown miscreants on early Wednesday torched government girls high school Wari in Upper Dir district however, no casualty was reported. District Police Official said unknown outlaws first sprinkled oil on the building and later set it on fire. Resultantly, the heavy blaze destroyed four classrooms, including a science room, computer room and record room.
The school's record and furniture worth thousands of rupees were also burnt to ashes in the inferno. Tehsil Nazim Wari Malik Fakhar Hayat told reporters that alternate arrangements would be made for the students to appear in the examinations. No outfit has so far claimed responsibility of the act.
