Selling pressure was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday with some buying in hot favourite under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed improvement of 6.34 points from 2,987.22 to 2,980.88 points.
The volume amounted to 1,130,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,500,425 shares. Total 125 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (80) closed in negative territory, and 45 closed in positive territory.
The volume of Bank of Punjab was 176,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 197,800 shares. The turnover of MCB Bank was 114,400 shares. The turnover of Adamjee Insurance was 105,700 shares.
