Jamaat-e-lslami Information Secretary Ameerul Azim has demanded that the government publish the names of 1,800 beneficiaries of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to help the nation recover each penny from businessmen politicians in the power.
Commenting on State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Shamshad Akhtar's remarks outside the National Assembly Standing Committee the other day, Azim said that public money looters had joined hands to create hurdles in the way of restoration of deposed judges because they feared an independent and powerful judiciary. He also urged the need for a free and fair judiciary.
