Chief Operation Officer, Lahore Airport, Zakawat ul Hassan said the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had restricted poultry business and solid waste dumping in a limit of 13 kilometres. Moreover, he said that birds around the airport could cause of fatal accidents.
He outlined the objectives of CAA while addressing a conference held here on Tuesday. Participants in the conference were from the army and the air force, the city district government and other civic agencies. Furthermore, Airport Manager, Syed Aamir Mahboob said the conference aimed at strengthening collaboration between various organisations working at the airport and urged the participants to co-operate.
