'Students should make right choices of their careers and work for the progress of the country'. The Rector, Forman Christian College University, Dr Peter H Armacost has said this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of first batch of the graduating students of four-year Bachelor degree Programme on Saturday.
He asked the students to work hard for maintaining the quality of education of the college so that it could compete with any educational institution of the world'. Referring to the standard of education of the college, the Rector said that his institution pays equal attention and importance to social sciences as well as pure sciences.
Further, he also advised the students of the commerce department to understand the issues relating to sustainable economic growth and try to solve the economic problems currently prevailing in the country. Further, he advised the students to promote religious harmony and work for people's welfare and try living their lives according to the motto of the college.
'Serve one another with love', he said thanking parents for the trust they have in the college. Later, awards were distributed among the students of BA and BS (honours). Khan Bahadur Muhammad Sanaullah Medal was given to Abdul Mobeen Khan for securing the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for the degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) while, Zahra Zafar and Saba Javaid were presented with the Roll of Honour.
