The political administration of Khyber Agency on Sunday safely recovered the abducted Christians within hours after their kidnapping from the Christian Colony near Academy Town here the other day.
Confirming the release of 16 Christians, who were made hostage by unknown gunmen on Saturday, an official of Khyber Agency administration and local police said that the release has been made possible due to the hectic efforts of the political administration of Khyber Agency.
Later, the abductees have been handed over to political authorities in Bara Tehsil Khyber Agency and the Christians reached their homes in Peshawar.
