Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas pipeline project would be finalised very soon. Iranian president stated this during a meeting with Federal Minister for Finance Syed Naveed Qamar in Tehran Monday.
The Iranian President also added that Joint Economic Commission is the proper forum to optimise bilateral economic relations, a private TV channel reported. Ahmedinijad has suggested that scope of JEC should be enhanced to include all possible sectors with emphasis on energy, technology transfer, culture and health. Finance Minister Syed Naveed Qamar reciprocated saying JEC would further increase co-operation in all possible sectors.
