National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) candidates in IBP Superior Qualification Examination held in summer 2008 outclassed others both in terms of overall pass percentage of JAIBP, Stage III, II and I in distinctions. The examination was held in May 2008 at 23 centres including London and Abu Dhabi.
The IBP is the professional body of financial sector industry and its qualification is certification of individual in the discipline of banking and finance in line with other international professional bodies. The exceptional results of NBP employee is a testimony that the bank is attracting and retaining high quality HR on continuing basis. The bank has so far hired eight batches of management trainees since 2003 on merit through the rigorous process of written test, group discussion and interviews.
The bank is a leader in management trainees scheme and an employer of choice.
This is the third year in a row that NBP candidates are passing in flying colours in IBP examination. This year 170 NBP employers passed various stages of IBP qualification. Since 2003 the bank has inducted 649 management trainees which have helped in developing a new mindset especially for the superior quality of human resources in all the functional areas.-PR
