The Sindh government has removed Additional Advocate General Abbas Ali and Seven Assistant Advocate Generals, Qasim Mir Jatt, Agha Jaffer Hussain, Abdul Jabbar Lakho, Sabir Hyder, Mushtaq Ahmed Abbasi, Masood Ali Sammo, and Mahmood Khan Yusufi. Sindh Law Minister Mohammed Ayaz Soomro said they were removed because of their unsatisfactory performance.
He felicitated newly appointed AAG Miran Mohammed Shah and Assistant Advocate Generals, Nafis Ahmed Usmani, Imtiaz Ali Soomoro, Adnan Karim Memon, Zafar Ahmed Siddiqi, Qazi Majid Ali, Khizar Azkar Zaidi, and Fasihullah. The minister said that it will be obligatory for them to defend government cases effectively, ensure their presence in the court and perform their responsibilities with honesty and dedication. He said that if any complaint was received against any officer of the law department, strict legal action would be taken against him.
