Karachi soaks in drizzle, rain expected
Different parts of Karachi are receiving unsteady drizzle making the weather pleasant than the previous week.
Starting from Monday until today (Wednesday), many areas of the metropolis reported to have received light brief showers and dark clouds which made the weather temporarily fine and a harbinger of rain in Karachi.
The weather has lowered to 31 Celsius from 38-40 Celsius, with the intensity of 49 Celsius due to increased humidity level in past weeks, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department.
However, thunderstorm, rain with gusty winds are expected in Multan, Sahiwal, D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha divisions and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Zhob divisions, FATA, Islamabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The interior of Sindh is still experiencing soaring temperature with Sibbi 50°C, Dadu 46°C, Sh. Benazirabad 45°C, Padidan 44°C, Jacobabad, Turbat, Larkana, Sukkar, Rohri, R.Y. Khan 43°C.
