Chicago Board of Trade corn and soyabean futures were sharply lower early on Monday on profit-taking, spurred by favourable US weather for developing crops, traders said. December corn was down 24-1/2 at $6.84-3/4 a bushel by 9:38 am CDT.
November soyabeans were 33 cents lower at $15.63. July soymeal was bid up $2.90 a ton at $456.80 at 11:37 am CDT.
