The government of Sindh has cancelled all allotments/disposals/sales/lease of lands given during the tenure of caretaker government with immediate effect and decided to constitute a committee to review the allotments made six months before the announcements of schedule of elections by the Election Commission with the following composition and TORs.
The Additional Chief Secretary (Development) P&D Department will be its Chairman while Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Secretary (LU) Board of Revenue, Sindh Representative of Trade and Industry (to be nominated by the Committee) will be its members.
The Terms of Reference (TORs) of the Committee is that no payment should be accepted even in pending cases from any individual, corporation, local authority, company etc. The committee should submit its report within 15 days, said a press release on Thursday.-PR
