Chief Executive IESCO Raja Abdul Ghafoor has said that fatal accidents by electric shocks are increasing due to non-implementation on safety measures. He stated this while addressing XENs in monthly meeting at IESCO Head Office on Wednesday.
Chief Executive instructed XEN, SDO & Line Superintendents to ensure temporary earthling to control fatal accidents. He said we have controlled line losses, which should be reduced further as per new target given by Nepra & Wapda authority.
Although CEO showed his satisfaction over recovery position, he pointed out slackness on the part of field officers who failed to effect recovery as per defaulter lists and not replacing of required meters. While talking about the complaints received against field officers, CEO strictly warned SDO/XEN not to add fuel to vows of load shedding affected consumers by switching off their mobiles. Misconduct/rude behaviour and ignoring of customers complaint would be pointed out as negative performance in their ACRs, CEO maintained.-PR
