The Islamic University announced the schedule of its first ever elections of the Staff Welfare Association to be held on August 26. According to the schedule, initial voters list will be displayed on August 4, the final list on August 6 at old, new and women campuses.
The polling will be held on August 26 from 9 am to 2 pm at Faisal Mosque campus, the new campus H-10, and the women campus. Results of the election will be announced the same day in presence of candidates and their agents. The University has also adopted a Code of Ethics to be operative during the election campaign, forbidding political involvement. No candidate will be allowed to use symbol of any political party.
