Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Thursday discharged 313,009 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Thursday was 334,069 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded on Thursday was 1507.80 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 138 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 185,000 cusecs while outflow was at 180,900 cusecs.
The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1181.80 feet, which was 141 feet higher than the dead level of 1,040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 31,060 cusecs while outflow was recorded at 15,000 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 30,200 cusecs and 87,809 cusecs respectively.
