Asian physical rubber prices fell on Monday, pressured by a decline in Tokyo futures prices and an increase in physical supplies. Traders said prices started to fall from late last Friday as more supplies became available.
There was also some concern that an economic downturn would hit demand for rubber, but some traders said these concerns were mitigated by the anticipation that demand from China and India would remain steady.
