On the call of action committee, SAU employees took out a big procession from Shahbaz Building via Thandi Sarak to and assembled in fornt of Press Club Hyderabad. The protestors block main road for half an hours.
The leaders Hussain Bus Vessar, Karam Ali Puno, Syed Abdul Majeed Shah, Shahmir Lochi, Ghulam Hyder Joyo, Abdul Hayee Bhutto, Mir Ghulam Hussain Talpur, Akber Maseeh, while addressing the protestors said that their struggle would conctinue till the ouster of 'corrupt' V-C Bashir Ahmed Shaikh, his sons. They alleged that they were involved in misappropriation of university funds, nepotism and favouritism.
The leaders announced that from tomorrow their struggle will divert to Sindh level. The universities of Sindh should also arrange such rallies in their Universities to show their unity/sympathies with employees of SAU, Tandojam. They said that they would march up to Bilawal House, Governor House, Chief Minister House to record their protest.
The leaders have also declared that they should arrange a separate programme to celebrate Independent Day on 14th August in SAU Campus by boycotting their event arranged by 'corrupt' V-C and his team members on account of protest. They demanded that immediate removal of V-C and his corrupt team.
