Provincial Minister for Special Education Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar has disclosed that Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahabaz Sharif has approved cash prize for the teacher showing best performance in "Universal Enrolment Campaign Scheduled" to be started on 14 August, 2008. He further stated that best performers will be awarded per head the cash prize amounting to Rs 10,000.
Malik Iqbal Channar said that main objective of the campaign is to enrol the children who are still out of schools. He further stated that the opening ceremonies of Universal Enrolment Campaign will be important part of Independence Day celebrations. These functions will be chaired by Assembly members and Provincial Minister.
