Chief Justice Lahore High Court Sayed Zahid Hussain while taking suo motu notice directed additional district and sessions judge Layyah to send his order passed for registration of cases against a judicial officer of Kahor Pakka and others for grabbing land of a woman."
The CJ has directed the Registrar LHC to get the facts and details of the case from District Sessions Judge, Layyah and report to him. According to the news item, AD&SJ Layyah on an application of one Nighat Sarwar ordered registration of cases against an AD&SJ of Kahor Pakka Malik Muhammad Nawaz, president city division PML-N Manzoor Ahmad and 25 others accused.
The complainant alleged that a group of land grabbers headed by AD&SJ Kahor Pakka and Manzoor Ahmed of PML-N occupied her property adjacent to district sports complex Layyah.
