Three executed for committing murders

Three condemned prisoners were hanged in Vehari and Sahiwal prisons early in the morning on Tuesday, and their bodies were handed over to their families for burial. Jail officials said," Munir Ahmed son of Kalay Khan was hanged in Vehari prison. He was the first condemned prisoner who was hanged in the newly built prison in Vehari district.
He was sentenced to death by Additional Sessions Judge, Vehari, on July 12, 2001 for killing Zaka-ullah in 1996. Sessions Judge Vehari Tahir Pervez Butt had issued his black warrant. Two condemned prisoners were hanged in Sahiwal who were involved in killing two persons, including a constable in Chichawatni two years ago.
