The Vice Chairman, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Banking and Insurance Committee, Jaffar Kudia has urged the government and the Habib Bank administration to pay compensation to those who suffered losses in August 14 bank docility incident.
Taking to newsmen, he said that a gang of dacoits barged into the HBL Saddar branch broke opened its locker and took away gold, jewellery, cash and prize bond on August 14. Kudia further said that it is the responsibility of the bank administration to provide safety and security of the valuables deposited in their bank by their customers and compensate the clients for the losses.
