The residents of Katchi Abadis here on Sunday took out a procession protesting against the government policies demanding that alternate place be given to them for their dismantled shelters. The procession, taken out under the auspices of Women Workers Help Line was comprised of joint action committee representing 22 Katchi Abadis.
The committee asking for respite said that if their demands were not met, they would commence their agitation on large scale in month's period.
