The Chief Justice, Lahore High Court (LHC), Sayed Zahid Hussain, here on Wednesday taking suo motu notice against illegal occupations in Journalist Housing Colony, summoned the case record and referred the matter to the Justice Khalil Ahmad for further proceedings.
The CJ has taken this notice on a news item published in national dailies pertaining to registration of an FIR by Lahore Press Club against a magistrate Abdul Ghafoor and others on the charges occupying plots of journalists illegally.
