University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) will commence its M Phil and Ph D programmes in line with the HEC and global parameters. This was stated by Professor Riaz Hussain Qureshi Advisor Quality Assurance, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad while addressing the participants of HEC Review Committee meeting about PhD and M Phil studies of UAF at new Syndicate Hall of the University.
He expressed his satisfaction over the infrastructural and research facilities of UAF and termed it as role model for other universities of the country. Highlighting the achievements of UAF, vice chancellor Professor Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that our faculty and students have proved that they are not second to none and are capable enough to compete at any level.
He also said that by producing an ever high number of 616 PhDs, UAF has introduced peer pressure system in a bid to enhance the quality of thesis as a PhD thesis remain open for the scientists and researcher before its final submission for overseas evaluation.
Professor Khalid Mehmood Khan VC Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Professor Zafar Ullah Khan VC BZU Multan, Professor Habib Ullah Jamal VC UET and Deans/Directors of UAF participated in the meeting.
