PML-N leader and MNA Hamza Shahbaz has called for immediate reinstatement of judges to save the country from further uncertainty. In a statement here on Wednesday, he said, "after removal of Pervez Musharraf who was the biggest hurdle in the way of restoration of judges, people are not ready to tolerate any delay in this regard."
Terming the resignation by Pervez Musharraf as great success of democratic forces. He said, "The despot surrendered only after having realised that his removal through impeachment was imminent." He said there is no logic for giving safe passage to Musharraf who bulldozed constitution and derailed democracy asserting "he must be brought to justice to ensure rule of law in the country." He asserted that future of Pervez Musharraf must be decided as per wishes of the masses.
Hamza Shahbaz said that following resignation by the despot, peoples' expectations from the democratic rulers have increased. He said after achieving the goal of removal of a dictator for restoration of real democracy, now we have to focus attention for resolution of peoples' problems especially alleviation of poverty and banishing backwardness to raise the living standard of the masses.
