Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Parliamentary Party in Sindh Assembly has decided to nominate the Party's Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari as the presidential candidate. A resolution to this effect was also adopted unanimously in a meeting held here at the Chief Minister House on Thursday.
The leader of PPP Parliamentary Party in Sindh Assembly, Pir Mazhar- ul- Haq, was in the chair. The Leader of the House in Sindh Assembly, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and 85 MPAs attended the meeting. They said they would like to see Asif Zardari in this very position. The meeting decided to nominate Zardari as the presidential candidate and adopted a resolution unanimously in this respect.
