The government has conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Public Service) on Aftab Lodhi, Special Secretary to Governor Sindh on the Independence Day, said a statement issued by Governor House on Thursday. Lodhi, who was posted in Governor's Secretariat in June 1997, has been dealing with the affairs of Higher Education.
At the time of his posting there were only 14 institutions of higher education in both public and private sector. He is also the Project Director of Provincial Monitoring Unit and is overseeing the development of 96 ongoing development projects worth Rs 12.6 billion.-PR
