Investigation Police have apprehended a criminal, who was wanted for murder and robbery cases. Police recovered Rs 11 thousand cash and a mobile phone from his possession. The accused had murdered a woman namely Razia Perveen with the help of his wife 20 days ago during robbery and looted Rs 0.1 million, jewellery and other valuables.
While taking strict notice, Capital City Police Chief, Muhammad Pervez Rathor, directed DIG Investigation Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera to trace the criminals. As a result a team was constituted under the supervision of ASP Gulberg Ali Nasir Rizvi comprising incharge investigation Ghalib Market Police Station and other police officials. During interrogation gardener, Zahoor Ahmad and sweeper Ashiq Masih disclosed that brother-in-law of Zahoor Ahmad Mali namely Bilal and his wife came as guest for a night and left the house next morning.
When police conducted a raid at Bilal's house in Nankana Sahib, he was not present, but he was arrested from his father-in-law's house. During interrogation the accused disclosed that he along with his wife came to meet his brother-in-law Zahoor Ahmad on August 1 and planned for a dacoity when they found Razia Perveen, the owner of house, alone at the home.
