DCO Major Azam Suleman Khan (Retd) has re-fixed the prices and rates of essential commodities in order to provide the maximum relief to the consumers. According to the new price lists, which has been issued in this regard, the new prices of different daily use items are: Mutton Rs 200 per kg at Ramazan Sasta Bazar Rs 210 at open market.
Likewise the rates and prices of Beef would be Rs 100 and Rs 110 per kg, flour bag 20 kg at Rs 290 and Rs 300, prices of 1 kg Vegetable Ghee & Oil Kashmir/Kisan Rs 128 and Rs 135, Data Ghee Rs 120 and Rs 122, other brand vegetable Ghee Rs 118 and Rs 120, Sugar White Rs 29 and Rs 31, Gram Daal Rs 50 and Rs 56.
Moong Daal (local) Rs 38 and Rs 42, Mash Daal Desi Rs 60 and Rs 65, Mash Daal Chaman Rs 70 and Rs 74, Masoor Daal (local) Rs 100 and Rs 110, Maida & Suji Rs 20 and Rs 23, Baisen Rs 52 and Rs 56, Red Chilly (Grinded) old Rs 100 and Rs 115, Rice Basmati (Super Colonel) Rs 65 and Rs 74, Rice Broken Rs 30 and Rs 32, Rice Irri-6 Rs 30 and Rs 35, Gram White (local) Rs 50 and Rs 56.
Gram Black Rs 40 and Rs 52, Dates(local) Rs 55 and Rs 65, Dates(imported) Rs 85 and Rs 90, Milk Rs 30 per litre, Yoghurt Rs 32 per kg, Roti (100 gm weight) Rs 4, Samosa big(vegetable) Rs 6 per piece, Samosa big Qeem-e-wala Rs 8, Samosa small Rs 5 per piece, Pakora Rs 90 per kg.
Potatoes, Tomatoes, Onion, other vegetables and fruits would be sold as per rate list supplied by the Secretary Market Committee on daily basis while rate of Chicken Broiler would be sold at Rs 5 lesser then the rate given by the Poultry Association, Faisalabad.
The DCO vowed that the official rate and prices of the essential commodities would be implemented in letter and spirit and profiteers would not be spared during checking the prices by the Special Price Magistrates. He urged upon the whole & retail sellers and traders to extend co-operation with the administration in this regard. The DCO informed that in case of any complaint regarding prices, the people could contact his office Customer Call Centre 0800-11229.
