Great news for Pakistan team ahead of India clash
Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir has regained fitness from back injury ahead of the all-important clash between Pakistan and India for ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
The 25-year-old suffered a back injury during a practice session ahead of the Pakistan encounter with England at the semifinals of the tournament. Despite, Amir absence Pakistan went on to win against the favourites after a clinical display to win by eight wickets.
He was replaced by Rumman Raees in the semis against the host. Rumman went on to grab two wickets in his debut game.
Earlier, skipper Sarfraz Ahmed said Mohammad Amir will be fit for Sunday's ICC Champions Trophy final despite missing semifinal against England.
The seamer has taken two wickets in his three appearances in the competition thus far but was unable to add to it against England, not that Sarfraz missed his number one bowler.
