The Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) is participating in the 42nd Bangkok Gems and Jewellery Fair to be held in Thailand from September 11 to 15, said a press release issued on Monday. Pakistan is taking part in the exhibition for the fourth time.
Some eight exhibitors from Pakistani Gems and Jewellery sector will display their products in the fair. The PGJDC will also take 17 delegates to the Thailand fair to give them maximum business exposure to new trends, innovations and development in technology.
Pakistan has been participating in this fair since 2005 and so far attracted a large number of people from across the world and received orders of $6 to 12 million.
The PGJDC provides the exhibitors with stalls at subsidised rates. The Chairman, PGJDC said, 'Bangkok gems and jewellery fair is one of the biggest international fairs for gems and jewellery in the world.' The CEO PGJDC, Fawad H Khan said, 'Pakistan has been participating in international exhibitions and trade shows regularly. The PGJDC;s commitment to give the industry maximum exposure to the world markets is evident through its participation in shows like 42nd Bangkok Gems and Jewellery Fair.'-PR
