Spokesman of Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) has said that from September 5, 2008 onwards is no power deficit and hence no loadshedding in the country except Karachi which is served by KESC. He further said that the requirement for the load shedding would return in case there is quantum increase in demand with any rise in the ambience.
But even then, there would be no loadshedding during Sehr and Iftar timings on domestic feeders. On the other hand, disruption if any, in the areas of Mepco are on account of local system constraints due to rise in customers demand which has no concerns with the national system, he added.
