Islamabad Police on Sunday rejected a news item published in the section of the press regarding the arrest of a suspected suicide attacker here. "This news is baseless and fabricated. Such baseless news item create unrest among the citizens, besides giving bad name to concerned journalistic organisation," the police spokesman said.
On the special directions of Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior A. Rehman Malik, Islamabad police has asked the media men to consult the spokesman of Ministry of Interior, senior relevant police officials of Police department and Spokesman of Police before issuing such news, he added.
