The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed SP Investigation Mandi Bahauddin to appear before the court on October 14 and explain the position of a case in which one of his investigation officers submitted conflicting reports about the involvement of a girl in embezzlement case.
It was revealed during the hearing of a pre-arrest bail application of Sadia Iram that the IO had submitted two reports in session courts. He had declared the girl innocent in its first report and held her guilty in subsequent report.
A currency exchange company owner Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa, had got registered a case at Mandi Bahauddin police station alleging that his cashier Zeeshan and receptionist Sadia Iram embezzled Rs 3.5 million from his company's account.
