Joompol Manaschuang, Royal Thai Consulate General, Karachi, has urged private and public sectors of Thailand and Pakistan to expedite their efforts to enhance the volume of commercial exchange between two countries. He expressed his views while speaking in an inauguration ceremony of "Thailand Ramazan Bazaar" held here on Monday.
Joompol said that Thailand are interested not only to trade their products in Pakistan, but also to invest in various sectors, including livestock and poultry businesses and even commissioning precious stones in the NWFP.
Thailand is taking an initiative to organise a number of trade events in Pakistan, he said and hoped that Pakistani business colleagues would also organise such events in our country. He said that Thai government has already organised two events in the April and August, which achieved immense success.
There are more than 40 different Thai companies have come to display their wide ranges of products including gift and decorative, toys, fashion jewellery, garments and textile, health and beauty, leather goods, food, flower, furniture and footwear.
