Pakistan will help Sri Lanka in the establishment of central databank, besides extending its support in security measures. This was discussed in a meeting between Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik and High Commissioner of Sri Lanka Dr WB Dorakumeura who called on him here on Friday. Nadra Chairman Ali Arshad also attended the meeting.
Issues of mutual interest including Nadra's e-National Identity Card project were discussed in the meeting. Earlier, Dr Dorakumeura said that Sri Lanka and Pakistan have long lasting friendly relations and co-operation between the two countries in various fields would be further enhanced. Malik also held a meeting with Sheikh Khalifa, Commander Armed Forces of Bahrain at Ministry of Interior and discussed with him the issues of mutual interest.
