America will survive the present day financial crisis. But for how long! The hidden weaknesses in the current capitalist financial systems have suddenly surfaced. Looking at the current crisis one can observe how the overnight billionaires have found it very easy to fool all the non-players. But as the saying goes you cannot fool all the people for all the time.
A day of reckoning comes, like the day follows the night. Even laymen like this writer can observe a lot just by watching what is going around. The US government's bailout programme is the measure in the last resort to protect the economic elites at the cost of innocent people. But these innocent people are slowly, but surely, opening their eyes. And with their eyes now open, they are seeing what they had not been seeing when their eyes were shut. So how many eyes these powerful barons will shut down?
It takes a lot of courage to hide a crime. But crime is crime. If not today, then tomorrow this crime, like so many more crimes, will have to atone itself. See, watch and observe. This financial scandal has come to stay. Those who have fooled the simple people will have to answer for what they had been doing. No bail-out, no dole-out, is going to rescue the culprits. It will be a feast for the impoverished people which providence had promised to offer to them.
