The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered registration of a criminal case against a Sub-inspector, Assistant Sub-inspector and a constable of CIA Staff Cantt for keeping four brothers in their illegal detention and misbehaving with the court bailiff.
The court has also suspended the delinquent police officials while directing the police authorities not to appoint them again in CIA Staff. The court issued this order in a petition of Fazal Bibi seeking recovery of her four sons from the illegal custody of the police.
The bailiff after recovering the three detenus produced them before the court and informed that the police had arrested them on September 21 but did not mention their arrest to avoid the court bailiff. The detenus included Imran, Sajjad, Nadeem and Sabir.
The three police officials Rana Muhammad Aslam (SI), Ismail Dogar (ASI) and Faqir Hussain (constable) misbehaved the court bailiff and did not co-operate with him when he reached there for the recovery of the detainees.
