Deputy District Officer (Revenue) Nisar Ahmed Memon, in a raid at various restaurants in the city on Friday imposed fine of Rs 49,000 on 10 hotel owners for selling `Roti' on higher rates. These include Dogar restaurant,Ali restaurant, Sareena restaurant, Food terek, Qadri hotel,Mianwali hotel, Shangreela hotel, Zulifqar hotel and Tandoor owners Saif ur Rehman and Muhammad Ramzan.
DDO warned that strict action would be taken against the shopkeepers involved in profiteering and hoarding.
