SSUET students get Japanese scholarship

Three students of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology have been awarded "Japanese Need Based Merit Scholarships". Fatima Shahid, Raj Kumar Raysee and Mohammed Shabbir Hassan won these scholarships, which covers both educational and living expenses for Bachelor's degree programme.
The selection of meritorious students for this scholarship is made through a committee comprising representatives of Government of Japan, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and senior Professor of the concerned university. It is for the second time that beneficiaries of this programme include the students from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology.
