ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has sent a message of greetings to Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Valdis Dombrovskia on their national day falling on Friday (November 18).
In his message, the Prime Minister said, "I have great pleasure in extending to Your Excellency, the government and the people of Latvia, warm and cordial felicitations on the happy occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Latvia."
"Relations between Pakistan and Latvia are characterized by friendship and cooperation. I am confident that these relations will be further strengthened in the coming years to the mutual benefit of our two countries. I also hope that together we can identify and pursue new ways of enhancing the relationship," he added.
The Prime Minister said, "I avail myself of this opportunity to convey my best wishes for your Excellency's health and happiness and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Latvia."
