Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Tuesday released 83,839 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs was recorded at 66,230 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam was recorded at 1471.53 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 102.53 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 35,900 cusecs while outflow was 37,700 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1170.80 feet, which was 1300.8 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 9191 cusecs while outflow was 2900 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 9120 cusecs and 12019 cusecs respectively.
