The Karachi Port handled 103,005 tonnes of cargo including 70,990 tonnes of import, 32,015 tonnes of export cargo and 4,868 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The freights comprised of 92,547 tonnes of dry cargo including 56,852 tonnes of general cargo; 8,370 tonnes of wheat; 13,184 tonnes of coal; 2,389 rape seeds; 593 tonnes of fertiliser; 11,159 tonnes of cement and 10,458 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Eight ships namely Hyundai Emperor, Hansa Liberty, Ninos, Alam Selamat, Vertigo, Dolphina, Karagol and Cielo-de-Venezia sailed out to sea during the reported period. Eight vessels viz Cap Colorado, Northern Harmony, Navision Bulker, Industrial Dream, Banglar Shikha, Bolan, Mariann and D D Vigor are currently at the berths. Four ships namely Karla Omayra, Northern Harmony, Industrial Dream and Sea Bridge expected to sail on Thursday.
Six ships namely Lalazar, Apl Cairo, Francisca Schulte, Flag Tnvestor, Lucky Arrow and Meridian Navigator due to arrive on Thursday while eleven ships namely MT Johar, City of Xiamen, Harmony, Ym Inventive, Conti Harmony, Hanjin Calcutta, Ashraf B, Sealo-1, Karina Danica, Lanka Mahapola and Gregos are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 49,019 tonnes including 36,418 tonnes of import 12,601 tonnes of export cargo and 1,506 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday. The cargoes comprised of 12,280 tonnes of wheat; 1,886 tonnes of palm oil; 12,517 tonnes of iron ore; 2,317 tonnes of cement and 20,019 tonnes of containerised cargo. Two container ships namely ACX Dahlia and Bux Lugoon sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while another ship namely MT Qem Star is expected to sail on Thursday.
A total of seventeen ships namely Golden Beam Trader, RM Power, Karavados, Nan Hai, Pacific Scorpio, Kolocap, Maria-V, Shafi, Vaafi, Van Coure, Vola-1, Jami Kos-T, R.S.Z. Joy, New Setokaze, Dolphin, Saudi Hofuf and Beluga Indication carrying wheat, iron ore, cement, rice, coal, containers and project cargo respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV ACX Dahlia, CV Bux Lugoon, MV Ataqa, MV Avenier, MV Giorgis Milas, MT Transport and MV Ocala are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat, palm oil and iron ore respectively during the report period. Three ships namely CV Saudi Hofuf, MT Mariann and MV Jima Kost are expected to take berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal, Fotco Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal respectively on Thursday. Two ships namely CV MSC Germany and MT Sun Rose carrying containers and crude oil due to arrive on Friday while another two more container ships namely Villed-de-Aquarius and MSC Denise are due to arrive on Saturday.
